Greetings, Wright Families!
First, I want to thank you for your patience and understanding as we have navigated multiple technology mishaps. As we enter this next week, we will once again strive to provide consistent, scheduled opportunities for students to interact in a whole group setting with their class. We will be building our stamina and increasing our rigor by incorporating additional learning opportunities and beginning to focus on grade level standards in reading and math. Please watch for communication from your child’s teacher about scheduled meeting times. We will also be sorting out our consistency with using Zoom vs. Google Meets. Hang in there with us!
I also want to let you know that we have additional help available during the school day. When you call our school phone line (503-399-3198), you can press 1 and be transferred to our front office or press 3 to be transferred to “HomeCoach”. The HomeCoach line is being answered by one of our staff members who can help with immediate needs. While we are not technology experts, we can attempt to troubleshoot, answer general school-related questions, or provide additional resources your family may need while navigating distance learning. You can also reach out to your child’s teacher, though we ask you refrain from contacting during scheduled instruction times and, instead, utilize the HomeCoach phone line. There are also multiple resources available anytime through the district’s HomeCoach website.
Have a great week, Falcons!
