Voters passed a bond measure in 2018 to fund improvements across the entire district, including at Wright Elementary School. Bond funding will provide more than $1 million in renovations at Wright.

Highlights of the work planned at Wright include:
• Security improvements to increase visibility of the main entry from the office
• Music room improvements
• Seismic improvements
• Electronic badge access system upgrades
• Heating/ventilation system improvements
• Intercom system upgrades
• Plumbing improvements

The district’s project management team is currently working with Carlson Veit Junge Architects to finalize the drawings that construction contractors will use to improve the spaces at Wright.

Construction is scheduled to begin in the summer of 2023 and is expected to be complete early in the fall of 2023.
